Christmas at St John's
Please Note: Due to a sharp rise in Covid-19 cases in our locality, it is with regret that we have decided to cancel ALL forthcoming Christmas services. Those who had booked places will be notified by email.
However, services (with the exception of Christmas Eve Midnight Evening Prayer) will be streamed online, via our Facebook page, so that those unable to attend have the option to join in from home. The church will also be open for PRIVATE PRAYER ONLY from 11.15am - 12.00pm on Sunday 20 December, Christmas Day and Sunday 27 December 2020. Face masks are mandatory unless medically-exempt.

This year we had hoped to collect at all our Christmas services for The Children's Society who are a national charity working to transform the hopes of young people threatened with neglect, abuse and exploitation. Although you cannot now make a donation in person you can still do so by using our QR-code. Thank you for your generosity.

Community Advent Calendar
To help bring a bit of cheer and to celebrate our community of Swalecliffe and Chestfield, we are releasing a short video clip on our Facebook page every day in December. We hope to feature local people, members of our church and community, places and pictures - all accompanied by a festive soundtrack.
It's not too late to join in! If you have a favourite carol, Christmas recipe, story or picture you could send it in.
