Holy Communion

On the night he was arrested, Jesus Christ broke bread and shared wine with his friends.  We still do the same today - he told us to repeat it.  It is our family meal.

The service of Holy Communion re-enacts that first time with readings and prayers to focus us on his words.  Our service is said in modern English, except on 3rd Sundays when there is an early service using the words of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer.

The Church of England welcomes all Christians to receive Holy Communion if they are in good standing in their own congregations.  We also admit the children who attend Brunch Club regularly, even if they have not become full members of the church.
